Following the great success of its initial release, we present Elías Mora Contracorriente 2020 (D.O. Rueda), a vintage that surpasses its predecessor and celebrates the joy of sharing great moments together.

Crafted from the bold decision to explore new horizons, Contracorriente is a 100% Verdejo sourced from vineyards in Pozaldez at 750 meters above sea level. The stony, calcium- and magnesium-rich soils deliver the ideal terroir for this indigenous grape.

Tasting Notes

Featuring an intense greenish-gold hue and 13% ABV, this white wine offers a distinct sensory profile:

• Nose: Candied citrus peel with a signature anise background, complemented by ripe pineapple notes.
• Palate: Fresh and unctuous entry with a long, fruity finish carrying subtle fennel notes.
• Serving: Best enjoyed served between 10°C and 12°C (50°F–54°F).
